Writing compliant ad copy & creative
You can be persuasive and compliant at the same time. Most policy strikes come from a few avoidable habits in copy and imagery.
Copy that stays clean
- Don’t imply you know a personal attribute (“struggling with X?” aimed at a condition).
- Avoid absolute or guaranteed outcomes, especially for health, money or weight.
- Skip sensational claims and fake urgency the page can’t back up.
- Make sure the offer in the ad matches the landing page exactly.
Creative that stays clean
Avoid fake buttons or fake system UI, shocking before/after imagery, and anything that misrepresents the product. Clear, honest creative not only passes review — it usually converts better because expectations match reality.
Reminder: the same angle can be fine on an aged account and risky on a fresh one. Match creative risk to account age.
Run bold campaigns on trusted accounts
Aged, high-trust accounts give your creative more room.
